Well there are a lot of birthdays in my family this week.

Happy birthday to my brother Clark, yesterday. He is now 22.

Happy birthday to my brother and sister, Aaron and Erica, tomorrow. They will both be 16.

Today, the whole Tobler family got together at the JW Marriot to take family pictures. For a group of about 70 people, it got a little crazy, but it will be exciting to see the final result. While she was taking individual family pictures, we took a few of our own. Here they are:

I have been tagged and now i have to share 7 things that describe who i am. the person that tagged me is ashley. You can see her 7 things at http://gaskells04.blogspot.com/.

1) I am a mother to one adorable little boy and a wife to the best man in the world. I am able to stay at home and watch Cole grow up and learn new things.

2) I love to laugh. I will admit that I probably laugh at a lot of things that are not funny to many, but I enjoy jokes whether they are cheesy, good, or very intelligent ones (I like to think I get most intelligent jokes). I also laugh loud. I don’t necessarily try to, but I can’t help it. When I worked at Tingey and Tingey law firm, my now grandpa-but then boss would always say he could hear me down the hall laughing away. I have tried to instill this in Cole even though he is not really old enough to completely understand. He seems to be catching on though.

3) My maiden name is Bowers, and although I am extremely proud to be a Stucki, I am also proud to claim Bowers. I think most everyone has somehow or another, had their last name made fun of. Throughout school I got a lot of Bow-wow and Bowser. Even Ms. Powers. People are weird.

4) Short!!! Yes, I am short. Standing at 5 feet and 2 inches has gotten me a lot of hassle in my 25 years. But I find that there are a lot of pros to being short. I really don’t mind it. People make jokes like it is a horrible thing. Um, Salma Hayek, Eva Longoria, Reese Witherspoon. They are all about 5′2. Nothing wrong at all.

5) I don’t like to tell other people what to do, EXCEPT with my brothers and sisters. Sorry guys.

6) I love being surrounded by people. I love watching them and conversing with them. I really just like something going on around me.

7) I have come to truly appreciate traveling. Brian has taken me to so many fun and exciting places. I was not able to travel a lot as a youngster, so I am making up for it now.

Copying Jamie

So Jamie, my sister-in-law, had posted a blog entry about what she liked about each of her siblings. I am going to kind of copy her because I felt a strong urge to express how grateful I am for all of my family.

Brian is the best husband I could ask for. There is not one thing I would change about him. He truly is my other half (corny but true). I love his passion for life, knowledge and fun. He is also a wonderful father and helps in every way he can.

Cole is of course a wonderful addition to my little family. He is so much fun to have and keep me busy. He is now starting to be extremely interactive and I love every moment of it.

My dad has always been a wonderful father and a great example to me and my family. He is so happy and caring and is kind to everyone. He is a smart man and has always encouraged me to love to learn.

My mom is such a hard working woman who does anything and everything for her family. She is a burst of energy and is so fun to be around. She has sacrificed so much for me.

I have always looked up to Clark, although he is younger. He is a righteous man and has always been there for me. I am so excited for his fiance’ to be a part of our family.

Spencer has such a kind heart and is so down to earth. He and I have always gotten along, and he is always nice even when I try to be the annoying, pushy older sister.

Aaron is also a ball of energy and is always fun to play sports with. He is a spiritual giant and has a caring heart.

Erica is a talented young woman who is beautiful and caring. She is such a loyal sister, friend, and daughter. I love how she cracks me up.

I also couldn’t ask for better in-laws. Each and every one of them have made me feel welcome and have helped me through pregnancy and learning to be a new mom.

I love you all.

First Flight

This last Friday, Cole got to go on his first flight. My nephew, Tyler Eaton, was getting baptized in Springville, so our little family decided it would be best for Cole to fly instead of trying to get him to be patient enough to take a six hour drive. Pretty sad when his first flight is when he is 4 1/2 months old and mine was when I was 21. Oh well.

He did a great job. Here are a few picture from this weekend.
