What we have been up to…

This last month has been interesting. A lot of you know that Will was in the hospital for 4 days with RSV. Thankfully he is doing a lot better with the help of some Oceanside weather and time.
This is Will telling us he is feeling better.

With all that has happened with Will lately, my mom has been such a help with Cole. I am so glad they live around the corner now. It has been such a blessing. Here is Cole making his first pizza.

Here is the end result. Notice the pepperonis.

I thought this photo was funny. Cole loves to give Will kisses and hugs, but I am not sure Will is used to it yet.

I like this picture of Will. He just seems so content with life.
I was getting Cole ready for bed the other night when Brian was at the temple, and he was being so cute, so I TRIED to snap a few photos and actually got a good one.
Will has gotten so big in just the last couple of weeks. He obviously started out as a big baby, but he sure has chunked up even more, and we love it.
Yesterday was Will’s baby blessing. I had almost everything ready for church so we could get a few family pictures in before we left. Unfortunately, Cole had slept a little longer than planned, and we also had to wake Will up right before we had to leave. This picture was our first and only attempt since Will was obviously not happy and we were in a hurry. I am so sad I didn’t even get one with Brian in it.
Happy Birthday Brian

Today is Brian’s 29th birthday. If any of you know Brian, you know he is a great man. He is such a great father and a wonderful husband.
Here are a few pictures of him through the years…
This is the start of it all:
He was such a cute little boy:

This is him in college.

Music Memories

Music is such a wonderful thing. Certain songs can create different emotions or memories. Today I was listening to The Pulse on XM radio and “One Head Light” from the Wallflowers came on. I have not heard this song in a long time. It was fun to listen to it though, because it brought me back to my freshman year of high school when my cousin would play it from seminary to school in her car. It brought back all those memories and it was fun to think about things I had forgotten.
Does this happen for any of you?
Brotherly Love

Since Will has been born, Cole has been trying to adjust to the changes. One of the nice things is that he loves “Baby Wiw.” He never tries to hurt Will, but he has been trying extra hard for more attention. For those of you who know Cole, you know he likes his attention. My mom has been helping me out a lot, and her and Cole have sure become good buddies. He loves going to Grandma’s house.
Here are a couple of photos:
Cole loves to hold Will. It is pretty cute, he will pat down on the couch or wherever he is sitting, implying he wants Will to sit next to him.
I took this one of Will while he was sleeping. He kept giving little gas smiles but I wasn’t able to really catch them.

No. No baby yet. I wasn’t planning on posting until the baby, but my brother, Spencer, got exciting news tonight. He opened his mission papers and found out that he will be going to Barcelona, Spain. He goes into the MTC on June 24th.
I am so excited for him. I am also very proud of him. I have heard so many of Brian’s stories of his mission and how great they were. I look forward to Spencer getting those experiences as well. I know he will be a great missionary.
Lowes

In this pregnancy, I have loved and craved the smell of different types of woods, cleaners and laundry degertgents. The other day I took Cole to Lowes, and wanted to just stand in the entry way for hours. It smelled so good.
I am scheduled to have the baby on February 10th. I am so excited. Cole has really gotten into babies lately and will carry one of his stuffed animals around, calling it “Baby.” He will usually pat it on the back real soft and hug it too. I love it. Perfect timing.
Here are a few pictures for updates before this baby comes…
These two pictures show how much he loves his “baby” stuffed animals.
As most of you know, Cole loves balls. We actually just redid his room and made it into a sports theme with different sports ball decals. He loves it.
The weather has been so nice lately and Cole has really enjoyed it. He spends at least 2 hours in the backyard everyday.
Well, this is probably my last post until the baby comes. Wish me luck. We are excited.
