First Flight
Sunday, November 4th, 2007 | All Posts
This last Friday, Cole got to go on his first flight. My nephew, Tyler Eaton, was getting baptized in Springville, so our little family decided it would be best for Cole to fly instead of trying to get him to be patient enough to take a six hour drive. Pretty sad when his first flight is when he is 4 1/2 months old and mine was when I was 21. Oh well.
He did a great job. Here are a few picture from this weekend.
This was Cole and his dad right before bording the plane to Salt Lake City.
This was a Cole size wagon at Grandpa Dale and Grandma Carol’s house.
This was check in for the flight back to Las Vegas. Cole was demanding (nicely of course), an earlier flight.
This was Cole waiting with Dad before boarding the plane back home.

Congratulations on your first flight with Cole!! How was he on the plane? Isn’t flying with kids great (said sarcastically)! You have to put EVERYTHING through security including strollers, your shoes, you baby’s shoes, and since you can’t have any liquid, then you have to go and find warm water to make a bottle. But I’d rather have one hectic hour on a plane than 6 (or 8 to Sac) in a car. I think Kayden has flown about 6 or 7 roundtrips now. Hopefully, you will have lots more fun airplane trips with Cole. Wait until he starts kicking the seat in front of you….then it’s really fun!!

I LOVED the demanding picture with his little fist on the counter. You guys are awesome for coming up here by the way.

First of all, as if you didn’t already know, Cole is beautiful. His eyes are so expressive.
Also, I love the picture of his “demanding” an earlier flight. He looks like a little man!

Every little grandkid loves that red wagon for some reason. It’s funny. He’s such a good baby, even though he sits on my baby’s head.

I’m trying to remember, but I don’t think I flew until I was about 21 years old either. (Of course, I think I have now made up for those early non-traveling years…ha!) These little kids DO have lots of miles behind them.
Stacey, we loved being up there with all of you. That was a neat experience and we were glad to be a part of it.
Fun!!! It looks like you guys had fun! Driving with the kids for that long is not fun. Good decision to fly!
these are adventurouse pictures! Cole will become an expert flyer. Having all those miles under his belt and all. That wheelbarrow is really small. I’m stating the obvious, but I haven’t seen one before!

I figured Brian’s child would have been on an airplane at 2 weeks old. What took you so long? He is getting so big!
