Growing

I know by the title of this post, most of you are thinking it is about Cole. Well, today I thought I would write a little about how Brian has helped me grow. I have always been one who gets very shy when the spotlight is on me. I have always hated speaking in church, giving a school presentation, etc. Well, ever since I started dating Brian, my confidence level has gone up and I have noticed that I feel a little more comfortable in the before mentioned situations. I still have hesitancy’s beforehand, but once I am in the moment, I am a lot less nervous than I used to be. For example, yesterday at the Republican caucuses (I’m sure most of you know) they have so many delegates per precinct. Well both Brian and I thought it would be good for me to do it so I could learn more about how our government works. I was too nervous to volunteer, until they got their first 14 delegates and started going into alternates. I finally got the courage to raise my hand. Then they made us say who we were, who we were voting for, and our reasoning. I actually got in front of everyone and gave my little speech. I was voted as one of the 14 delegates and will be attending the county convention on February 23rd. Yeah.
