Learning About Me
Tuesday, July 8th, 2008 | All Posts
I have always grown up not having too many opinions or even favorites of many things. For example: I never had a favorite song, movie, color, animal, etc. I always liked more than one and whenever I was asked what my favorite anything was, I couldn’t answer. I have gotten a lot better these past few years on choosing favorite things and having a few more opinions.
1. My top three movies (or in other words: Desert Island Movies):
1. The Sandlot
2. Girls Just Want to Have Fun
3. Ocean’s Eleven
2. My favorite hobby (when there is time)
I like to sew. My latest project was my nieces dresses for the Fourth of July. Here is a pictures of how they
turned out. Of course my cute nieces make them look better than they were.
3. My favorite color:
Blue (in any shade)
4. Favorite meal:
Hawaiian Haystacks
5. My Favorite sport to watch:
Baseball (Red Sox)
6. My favorite holiday:
Christmas
A few things I have figured out:
1. I like having a reason to dress up and feel a little prettier than my everyday self.
2. I still can’t choose a favorite song or band
3. I like to cook (which I just started doing since Brian and I got married)
4. Since being a mother, I am a very worried person

I love this blog. It let’s me know more about you.
And those dresses were ADORABLE!! And the little girlsies knew it. Emma kept laughing and smiling at herself in the mirror. And they loved the comments they got from people walking by. They felt like princesses!
(Plus, Lucy’s dress even zipped up!!! She didn’t gain as much weight as we thought!)

Those dresses are impressive! We are so excited for you to move closer to us. Mandy and I were talking and it will be so nice to have people to do things with! Yeah!

The dresses are adorable! I wish I knew how to sew…maybe someday I will learn.
Ashlee’s favorite meal is Hawaiin Haystacks too!
I am a lot the same way…I don’t have one place that is my favorite to eat or one movie that is my all time favorite….I like a lot of things and am very indifferent towards others.
great job on the dresses! i like to sew too but am not very good at it.
i am the same with favorites. i just like alot of things and can be happy with many different things, not just one specific.
yes we are very excited to have you move closer. as much as i am going to miss san diego (i am already expecting to go through a slight depression after we move home) i am looking forward to being home with all of our friends and family.

It is hard being a worried parent. Kids are hard in general! That is actually pretty cool that you are so laidback that you didn’t have favorites growing up. And now you can learn more about yourself as an adult.
Good post.

Hey! It was fun to see you in real life! I never knew we were fellow Red Sox fans, woo-hoo! Those dresses are fab, but WHEN do you find the time w/ a one year old & a baby in gestation??? Seriously!?

I, on the other hand, have had too many opinions in my childhood! Those dresses were beautiful and the girls loved them. Sewing is not easy, and it is definitely a talent of yours!

I printed this out so I can keep a copy in my “Kid’s Journal”. (Brian will know what that is.) I too enjoy finding out more about you.
