November Update

November has been busy, which in turn has made it go by so fast.

Here are a few pictures to explain some of the events…

I had to post this one, because Cole made the funniest face. He loves climbing into and on things lately. (Toy bins, bathtub, chairs, etc.)

Another thing he likes to climb on, that usually ends up giving me a heart attack, is our bed. He jumps on it and it freaks me out. He does this sometimes while I try to hurry in the shower.

We went to dinner with Grandpa Dale and he gave Cole a toothpick. Cole loved it. He stuck it between his two top teeth and it got stuck there. It was so funny.

Cole got to go to his first Rebel game and he loved it. He danced and screamed when the game was starting and of course loved watching the Rebel Girls dance.

My parents have this little kid house that you can pop open and then collapse it to store it away. Cole loves it and every time we go over there we open it up. It seems to always end up with everyone in it though, because Cole makes sure he goes through the house and gets everyone in there. It is the funniest thing. He comes to get you, pulls your hand to follow him, goes in the house
and pats the floor for you to sit down. He luckily let Brian out to take this picture.

My parents are getting ready to move so they had a yard sale a week ago. I took Cole over there to get him out of the house and he loved being outside while different people came up to look at things. He also loved eating their popcorn and playing with all the stuff they were trying to sell.

We had a great Thanksgiving. We went over to Stan and Linda’s and had yummy food and family. Here are all the grandkids that were there…

Cole never poses for us when we try to take pictures, but Brian asked him to do it and this is what he got…

Some fun pictures

It is pretty cold in the mornings here (probably about 45 degrees) and Cole still loves to play outside around 6:30 a.m. I like to make sure he is warm. Better safe than sorry. He has never worn gloves before and I just bought a set of gloves and a beanie. It obviously doesn’t match, but I thought it was so cute how he was loving the gloves.

I just love this picture of Cole. He was so excited to get his dried fruit, he took the bag and ran outside to eat it on the blanket.

Brian and I went to San Francisco with my brother, Clark and sister-in-law, Shawnie. It actually rained a lot of the time, so we didn’t get too many pictures, but this one is in front of Alcatraz. I have never done the Alcatraz tour until this 7th time of going to San Fran, but I really enjoyed it. It is actually a really nice island.

We took some family pictures yesterday and I had to snap this one of Brian and Cole. They were playing with the ducks. I love my boys.

October Activities

This October has flown by. We have been pretty busy. Here are a few pictures to show what we have been up to.

I was so excited for cooler weather, because I bought Cole this outfit and was so excited when he was able to wear it.

I am so glad Mandy Oblad has come to Vegas to share her great information. She told me about this library class for toddlers that we now go to every week. Cole loves it, and I think he is learning so much. Sorry this picture is blurry. These are his friends. (Though he’s quite a bit younger than all of them, he sure likes playing with the older kids.)

This year, Brian and I thought it would be fun to take Cole to the pumpkin patch. I know everyone goes and their kids seem to like it. Cole loved it. He ran to all the big pumpkins trying to pick each one up. He also saw two kids throwing the hay on themselves, so he thought he should try it too. He had a blast but started rubbing his eyes after awhile.

About a month ago, we visited our friends Alan and Megan at their home. Mason showed Cole his neat bubble lawn mower and Cole liked it. Don’t worry, we don’t buy everything he likes, but he is in love with bubbles right now, so we thought it would be nice to buy him one. He tried it out in the house first. He seems to like it quite a bit.

My friend Mandy, got tickets for bowling at the Texas and invited Cole and I to join. It was Cole’s first time and he loved it for about 8 turns. It was cute to see him try to push the ball down the ramp.

Today, My mom and dad, Brian and I, took Cole to the Carnival on Craig Road. Cole had a blast. He loved everything he went on. Brian is such a good father. He took Cole on a really tall, bumpy slide 4 different times, and had to carry Cole, a rubber mat and climb about 50 stairs each time. Here are a few pictures from the Carnival.

Time for a Cole Update

Cole is obviously getting bigger and bigger. It feels weird that he is already 15 months old. He is already wearing 18 month old clothing, but I hear that is pretty normal.

Here are some pictures and descriptions of what he has been up to.

Jamie, my sister-in-law, took this picture. It is so cute. Cole loves any sort of sports balls. Although Brian and I hope he will love baseball most, we will have to see.

When I go to the mall (which is very rare), Cole gets so bored riding in his stroller. I like to let him get out and play on these cars. He loves them. I don’t even have to put change in them. He just acts like he is driving them.

Cole loves to help me in the kitchen. I can’t sweep when he is awake or around because he takes the broom away from me. We actually bought him his own little broom, and now every time I give him his broom and I start to sweep, he still takes mine and tries to sweep with both. He can also open doors, so he gets into the pantry and loves to take these utensils out of the box.

Brian has a money chain necklace (don’t worry, he doesn’t wear it) and Cole found it the other day. We put it on him and he automatically started acting like he was all cool.

Image

I bought Cole a little toolbox to try to keep him a little occupied. It has a little hammer for him to hammer in some pegs, which he loves. For some reason, he also likes to sit on it.

Brian stuck his tongue out one day to Cole, and now anytime Cole sees a camera, he sticks his tongue out. It is too cute to ask him to stop.

It’s a boy!

Brian and I went to the doctor’s office today to get our ultrasound. It looks like we are about 19 weeks and they said it is definitely a boy. Their equipment was awesome. Better than when they showed us Cole. We were able to see everything without any questions.

We are so excited. Cole has been such a wonderful little boy, and I am glad to be getting another one. We only want one girl anyway, so every time we have a boy, it lowers chances of more girls. Yeah. Plus, everyone who has two boys close in age, has said it is great.

Looks like we will be having baby Slim right around February 10th. (Scheduled C-sections have some plus sides to them).

Brian already has their futures planned out too. You can see on his blog.

Twilight

I have never been a huge fan of reading. I have maybe completed a total of 20 books in my entire life. I was in Vernal a few weeks ago, visiting my sister-in-law, Stacey, and she had the Twilight books. I decided to try it out since EVERYONE has said how good they are. At first I felt weird reading about vampires, but as I started reading it, I totally got hooked.

The result ended up being 2,444 pages in 14 days. That is pretty good for me. Now that I am done with all of the books, I feel like I have a lot more time on my hands. It turns out that reading the books was all I was doing with my free time.

Well, watching the previews about the movie has made me a little disappointed, but I still want to see it.
