Red Sox

This last Sunday, Brian and I got to go see our Red Sox play the Angels in the play offs. It was so fun. We took Cole to my parents Saturday night (my first night without him). Then we left Las Vegas Sunday morning. We flew into Ontario and drove to Anaheim. We got to the game early and watched batting practice. It was fun because I got to see some of my favorite players (Coco Crisp, Dustin Pedroia, and David Ortiz) bat up close.
The game was great. It was close most of the game with the Red Sox in the lead by 2. Then in the eighth inning, we bumped up the score. We won the game 9 to 1. Whoo-hoo.
Then we flew back home right after the game. I had so much fun (with the exception of missing Cole so much). I thought I did a pretty good job with never being away from him that long.
Here are a couple of pictures:
The wind was pretty strong so my hair was all over the place.

This is a picture of the flag that they spread out while we sang the national anthem. It was huge and beautiful:

Geez louise, Candace! You look hot! You and Brian seriously look great. Cole has no hope but to become a Sox fan huh?
I am sure Grandma Susan loved her grandkid sleepover!

I love windblown natural hair pictures. It means you were playing hard with your hubby.
I am always amazed at how well they keep up the fields!!
How fun!!! The picture of the flag is amazing
I still want to go with you guys one of these times. OHHH…your first trip without your little man! I promise it gets a little easier. Now I can’t wait till I have a second without them.j/k No, I love them all and enjoy traveling with them. I am sure you had a good time. You are looking skinny woman! GO YOU!!!

How fun! The first away time from the baby is both liberating and heart breaking. It looks like you guys had fun, and the S. California weather sure looks beautiful. I like your shirt.
)
P.S. You guys need to get a little variety in your sports-teams wardrobes. There is entirely too much red going on. (OU, Boston, UNLV)
Nicole, I feel the same way about the fields. Baseball fields are beautiful.
Rachel, Red is a good color =) And thank goodness you had that shirt for me to wear, because I looked for my own and there were none as cute as that one.
WOW! That looks like a good time! But I’m sure it wasn’t easy without Cole. Are you SURE you had a baby 4 months ago? you look pretty dang skinny in that picture. I had to show Mark that picture because that was so big!
Mark and I need to delve into “our teams” more before we have kids of our own, so our family has definite lines of who to root for
.
haha! I meant I had to show him the flag! oh brother. You look smokin’
Fun! Yeah the first time away is hard, but rewarding also! You do look dang skinny already. I am a Yankees fan, so I am not on the same side with you. But I do want them to kick the Indians trash!
