Swelling

All of you who have been pregnant, I’m sure can relate to this experience I had yesterday. I was working on the computer last night when I had that feeling of little sock fuzzies being stuck between your toes. My first thought was “Yuck, I hate this.” Then I thought about it, and it occurred to me that I hadn’t been wearing socks since earlier that day. When I reached down to clean them (sound gross I know), I realized there was nothing in between my toes. They had swollen up so much that each toe was rubbing against the other, leaving me with the gross feeling of sock toes. Needless to say I slept with my feet raised and thank goodness they are back to being somewhat normal this morning.

Aren’t you glad we don’t have to be pregnant for 22 months like elephants!

I never did get the swollen feet. My best friend, Amy, got not only swollen feet, but face, hands, everything. She looked like a balloon by the end of her pregnancy! Poor thing.

Uhmmm….. yeah do you remember MY FEET? They were rediculous, I was swollen almost everyday for the last 4 months of my pregnancy. I was working at a computer desk all day long, and then I would do hair 3-4 nights a week, and it was throughout the summer. It hurts too, people think that it is funny, but it can be painful! The only shoes that I could wear were flip flops, and now none of my pre pregnancy shoes fit, because my feet got so flattened! I feel for you girl! Don’t work too hard on your last week!

Hi! This is Crystal Miller. You probably don’t remember me but Brian and I were friends in High school. I saw your link on someone’s sight and thought I would peek in on you (a little creepy I know). Congrats on the baby, that is very fun and exciting news. And you are almost done! I am sure everything will go great. If it makes you feel any better you are already more prepared then I am . . . I never make it far enough to qualify for birthing classes. I can’t wait to see him! Tell Brian hello.
Hi Crystal. I do remember you. That is nice of you to comment. Brian saw your comment before me and thought is was really nice too. I have seen your site a couple of times too. Your little girl is getting so big now as well as your son. Thanks for the kind words.
