We Ended the Year on a Good Note

This last December was very busy, but so nice. I love the Christmas holidays.
Here are a few pictures with descriptions:
Along with Christmas season comes a lot of baking. This year Cole got to help me (His first time). I would have to say, he mainly helped with eating the batter and watching the cookies bake.
I made monkeys for all my nieces and nephews and gave it to each of them for Christmas. I found a cute pattern online. My mother-in-law helped me make the skirts and pants. We called them the monkey cousins, since Cole is our little monkey. Here is a picture of the 10 monkeys.
I know everyone from Vegas posted about snow days but I only got one good picture of Cole in the snow. He really liked eating the clumped snow.
We went up to Utah to have pre-Christmas with family. Cole seemed to like sitting on everyone’s presents.
This is your basic picture of all the men, when they are not helping with kids…
I love this picture of Cole and Brian. we got it right before church a couple weeks before Christmas.
Cole got a new church outfit for Christmas, from my parents. I don’t brush his hair to the side too often, but Brian loves it that way.
Cole has been learning to draw lately. This picture shows how he started out, until I continually showed him how we do not write on ourselves.

I miss that boy! I love his hair parted like that, too.
I liked how you put all the monkeys with their arms around each other. Lucy loves her. She actually recognizes the word monkey now!
And the picture of the men is typical:
Josh- Computer
Brian- Computer
Nate- Computer
Rod- Food

I am the first to admit that I don’t have a great memory, but I am telling you, everyone of those pictures of Cole makes me have flashbacks of Brian when he was a kid. Scary how much they look alike. And he is a little doll with that slick hair.

Little slick…I love that look too. When everyone was little, I’d take the squirt bottle in the car going to church and brush down all the kid’s hair on the way! (And probably all the SAME way too:)

Cole is such a little stud in his Christmas suit! Those monkeys are adorable. I also want to come over and have you show how to make a bag like the one you bring to church.:)

Morgan, just give me a call and I would be more than happy to show you how to make the bag.
